I’m writing apocalyptic fiction because of course I am. I’m doing research to make sure that there is some degree of accuracy involved. I will be blogging about the characteristics of apocalyptic fiction and think about its popularity, but probably not this month.
It’s not too late for you to start your novel, too. You would need to write 2000 words a day if you started now.
It has been strange how the process of writing Plainly Spoken has made it easier for me to write this novel. I’ll be thinking about why this is over the next month and I may report back.

I shocked myself by writing another novel. It’s not 50k, but it has as many words as it needs, so that’s a win. I really love self-editing, probably more than any other part of the writing process, so I’ve got something to look forward to next year. How about you?
